HOW DO WE GET THE MOST BANG FOR OUR BUCK?
Right now, my team and I are planning on starting production of this film on December 2, 2025. That’s 33 days from today.
From my experience, that’s a very easily achievable goal. Especially considering what we’re planning on shooting first, and the team of seasoned veterans and friends we have committed to helping on this project— and the fact that I wrote and planned this thing to be very doable and affordable, and yet give us plenty of bang for our buck on screen.
Bang for our buck matters a lot with this indie film, because every buck that’s going into this movie is my buck right now.
That’s right, the film industry is in such dire straits and my film career and my life has hit a real “fuck it” point, so I’m all in— I’m taking all the money I have in the world and I’m putting it right into production on my indie film MR+MRS DEATH and as many other projects as I can.
Because fuck it, what else am I doing with my life?

Want to help with this project, or one of the other shoots we’re planning?
Basically I’m finding out how much my friends like me and how much my artistic collaborators believe in what we’re doing, because we’re shooting on a very very very low budget. Like so low that I’m truly sorry this is all I have to pay people, but I’m doing whatever I can to get this movie made the best way we can and as soon as we can. I’ve shot giant studio projects and commercials, I’m accustomed to having wayyyyy more money to shoot.
But I still have access to a lot of very talented friends, so right now I’m going back to my indie root and back to basics, and focusing on what we can actually get on screen.
My movie MR+MRS DEATH is about what happens when people feel desperate, like they’ve got nothing to lose.
Have you felt that way recently? I know I have.
So I’m making a movie about it.
